Single Player Mode allows players to save games locally on a computer, meaning you can save and load games to your heart’s content. Note that Single Player and Multiplayer are separate game modes. Regions created in either mode cannot be transferred to the other mode.
Having Single Player Mode enables the SimCity community to experiment with their cities. Regret that Sci-Fi Casino or Statue of Liberty landmark you placed into your city? Load up your last saved game and try something different! In addition, Single Player Mode gives players the opportunity to make modifications to the game and its components without compromising the integrity of the online game.
- The hills are alive: Each Sim in your town is a unique individual, and you can view their needs and desires at any time. Each change you make affects the entire ecosystem, so plan carefully!
- City controls: Intuitive tools make placing roads and buildings as easy as clicking and dragging. The nice, clean interface gives you as much or as little information as you need to get things done.
- Play well with others: Now you’re part of a larger world—your city affects the cities of other, real players nearby. Design specialized towns to help each other thrive.
